Strength and Fragility

The Dichotomy of Strength and Fragility

Tissue paper is one of the thinnest materials you can hold in your hands. It's fragile enough to tear without a second thought. But paint it, layer it, work it, and something changes. It stiffens, holds its shape, becomes something you wouldn't expect from where it started. The transformation is quiet but undeniable. People are much the same way. Each experience we move through, the hard ones especially, adds another layer. Strength doesn't always look like armor. Sometimes it looks like something that has simply been through a lot and is still here.

This collection sits with that idea, tracing the line between delicacy and durability in the material itself. Through texture, layering, and the way light moves across each surface, Strength & Fragility invites viewers to look closely at what it means to be shaped by what you've carried and to find something worth admiring in that process.
